Trailer Time again!

It’s time for me to see what the Apple Trailers site has to offer. First thing that caught my eye is the brand new trailer for Garfield the Movie, which debuts next year. As we’ve reported earlier, Bill Murray replaces the late Lorenzo Music as the voice of the flabby tabby. (That’s just a joke; I don’t know Garfield’s actual breed.)

One distressing point: Odie is NOT animated.

former iraqi despotic dictator captured by US military forces!

” A dark and painful era is over.”

So said US President George W. Bush earlier today in his public statement to the media about the capture of former dictator/’leader’ Saddam Hussein. For the full text of Bush comments check here at the www.nationalreview.com website.

The news is truly fantastic news for the Iraqi people. They are safe from his torture, intimidation, pillaging of oil revenues and his overall political rule by narcissistic brutality. This is also very good news for George W. Bush and his respect as a world leader. It brings resolve to a significant factor that lingered from the spring 2003 invasion of US troops into Iraq: the Iraqi president managing to elude capture. Congratulations to President Bush and especially to the 600 US troops who were on the frontlines of this mission. CNN describes it as follows:

“About 600 4th Infantry Division soldiers and Special Operations forces from Task Force 121 conducted the raid in Adwar, near a compound of ramshackle buildings, about 9 miles outside Saddam’s hometown of Tikrit, on Saturday night. The soldiers found Saddam hiding in what they called a “spider hole,” six-to-eight feet deep, equipped with a rudimentary ventilation system and covered with bricks and dirt. Spider hole is the U.S.. a military term for such a camouflaged tunnel or hole in which an enemy can hide. “

With this out of the way, the process of rebuilding Iraq can continue with an added sense of focus, resolve and confidence.
