Ruined a good story, they did!
Posted on January 12th, 2004 No commentsOnce, for a fan fiction story, I created an Easy Company soldier named Gap who had a wound in his mouth created by his dogtag when he was left for dead. Now it turns out that the whole thing about dogtags being placed between the incisors of a corpse before slamming the jaw shut is just an urban legend.
Thanks a lot to you folks at Snopes.com for disproving the origin of one of my favorite characters in what I consider to be my best fanfic. And in case you can’t tell, I’m being sarcastic. You stink! You are a senile, buck-toothed old mummy with bony girl arms and you smell like an elephant’s butt!
