JMS speaks about the future of Babylon5
Posted on February 17th, 2004 No commentsI was rummaging through my Favorites list looking for dead links, and came across a dusty old link: the Lurker’s Guide to Babylon5.
Back during seasons 2,3and 4 the Lurker’s Guide was my start page. I’ve never been a bigger fan of anything before and I doubt I’ll ever be again. Put simply: B5 rocks hard. Anyway, I clicked on the link for kicks and there in the current news was a link to a Yahoo group where series creator J. Michael Straczynski was mentioning a new development for Babylon5!
Well, I’m aghast! I thought he’d gone on to other things.
Hear that sound? I’m hyperventilating with excitement!

This is freaking me out
Posted on February 17th, 2004 No commentsPvP is out on time! Every day I can come in to work, log in to PvP and there is a NEW COMIC STRIP POSTED!
It has been years since this happened two days in a row. I have fond memories of the glory days when a new PvP cartoon was there every morning. Oh, how I missed that. I remember there being a comic posted before noon sometime late last year but it wasn’t the start of a trend.
But now, here it is Tuesday and there’s a new cartoon up already!
My mind is going, Dave. I can feel it.

New Geek Wad winner selected
Posted on February 17th, 2004 No commentsWe recently announced the winners of the Big Geek Wad contest, but one of them has not responded to e-mails by 2/15. Therefore, runner-up Stephen Legge now advances to second place and will receive a copy of “Comic Book: The Movie” on DVD as well as a signed edition of “Job Wanted.”
This means we have a new opening for a runner-up, because I’ve got this spare “Job Wanted” lying around unclaimed. Therefore, the new runner-up will beeeeeeee… (drumroll)
Tom Eaton!
Tom, we’ll be e-mailing you to get your address and we’ll get that copy to you ASAP.
