Just a follow-up on Mars stuff below

When I was passing along the links to articles about Mars exploration, I meant to include Dr. Buzz Aldrin’s “cyclers” proposal.

All I knew about Buzz Aldrin was that he was the second man on the moon and he was once on the Simpsons. I didn’t know that he was a doctor, a designer, a fighter pilot, an author, a leading proponent of the privatization of space exploration and the only man in the world to visit the moon, the Titanic on the ocean floor and the North Pole.

Me, I’m eating a granola bar and posting to a comic book weblog. I’m reminded of Comic Book Guy’s last words: “But Aquaman, you cannot marry a woman without gills! You’re from two different worlds! Oh, I’ve wasted my life.”
