Why is Clark Kent a reporter?

Worth following the link just to see the cartoon. And I must commend the political cartoonist, “Horsey”, for getting Lex Luthor and Jimmy Olsen’s names both spelled right; very often they get misspelled by the non-fan. (Of course…he probably IS a fan.)
